Charles de Lint
Charles de Lint pioneered the contemporary fantasy genre and is an acclaimed master in his field. With 68 books published to date, his writing includes adult novels and short fiction, as well as young adult and children’s literature. His latest adult novel, The Mystery of Grace, was published by Tor Books in March 2009. A new short story collection, Muse and Reverie came out from Tor books in December 2009. It’s an eccentric musical about a very cutthroat barber. Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street hits the Citadel stage February 6 to 28, 2010.
Sweeney Todd is a dark and daring production about love, and revenge; the tale of an ordinary man who had everything until a man of power stole his freedom, and destroyed his family. Rolling Stone calls it: “A spellbinder of breathtaking beauty and terror!”
