Nearly a decade since the first release Alley Kat co-founder Neil Herbst along side his partner and wife Lavonne, are still making world-class micro-brewed beers right here in Edmonton. Alley Kat is a craft brewery that produces outstandingly flavourful, fresh-tasting beer of exceptional quality.
They have made it their mission to introduce beer lovers to beers that are definitive examples of their styles. Using the best quality local ingredients their beers are brewed with the utmost care and attention to detail. Indeed their mission is accomplished with the production of six flagship brands (Aprikat, Charlie Flint’s Original Lager, Full Moon pale ale, Alley Kat Amber, and Olde Deuteronomy barley wine), most of which have won national and international awards.
In addition to microbrews for purchase, Alley Kat offers merchandise like specialty t-shirts, labels, beer glasses, and bottle openers which make great gifts or collectibles. Public tours are also available on Thursday and Friday afternoons from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
