1. Why When Pigs Fly?
Just Because

2. What did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was little I always wanted to be a airline stewardess.

3. What is your biggest pet peeve?
People doing stupid things, example, putting your elbow through a large picture window just because.

4. What are some of your favourite things in life?

Travelling, sailing, scuba, adventure

5. What has been one of your finest moments in this business?
When people comment on what a great store it is.
6. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits or other defining characteristics?
I can make up my own language sometime, when pre occupied I have selective hearing, busy bee perfectionist, I’m told my laugh is contagious, I can cry about things very easily, the list could go on and on
7. What is the most craziest or most adventurous thing you’ve ever experienced?
Scuba diving for the first time
8. Do you have a family, and are they involved in your business?
yes 2 married children, 2 granddaughters, and a grandchild on the way.

9. How largely are your products local/organic/fair trade?
Wide variety from small canadian artisans to large canadian distributors.

10. What made you choose to open a business independently instead of as part of a chain/corporation?

Hands on business Like the personable side of things.

11. Where does your business’s name come from?

Slogan - that could happen- when pigs fly

12. Have you ever lived in another country? If so, where/why?
No - 100% edmontonian

13. What do you do in your free time?
Golf (summer) Cross country skiing (winter)

14. What do you think you’ll be doing five years from now?
Looking towards retirement

15. When do you feel your best? In the morning, afternoon, evening?
Every part of the day holds something good, different

16. What are some jobs you did before you opened this business?

waitress, demontrating musical organs, junior accountant, controller

17. Out of those jobs, what was the absolute worst one?

none

18. What do you have in your pockets?
Nothing- empty- carry purse

19. What makes you laugh?
People

20. Do you like being interviewed?
Its okay.
