Always been interested in photography? Longing to liberate your inner Avedon or Karsh? Then register now for the Carrot’s Photo Scavenger Hunt.

The hunt starts at 10 AM with a short lesson on photographic technique that will include tips on exposure and composition. Teams will then disperse to search for and photograph assigned subjects, all of which are to be found within four blocks of the Carrot Café.

For the on-the-go toddler this high energy class provides an opportunity for children to explore their coordination and balance. This introductory class will expose your toddler to a new environment and friends; bubbles, balls, songs and games make this 30-minute class perfect for growing minds and bodies. Just enough time for a coffee break.

Tykes on the Move (24mths-2 ½yrs.) Saturday 10:30- 11:00am $120/10wks
From the circus to the jungle, kids will explore different ways of moving in keeping with a variety of themes, and sounds. Each class your child will be developing strength, coordination and balance in a fun and motivating environment.

Fidelity Aloe
The Aloe is back for fall and the wash is spectacular. This style sports a nine inch rise, high enough to cover your panties but not high enough to hit your belly button!

We had a lot of success with this style in the spring and for fall we were able to order it in a 36 inch inseam! Of coarse we’re still happy to do our free and fancy in house hemming for those ladies who need it…

Transcend has roasted the Brazil Terezinha again, and has a very limited offering of this exceptional coffee, which is available today, Saturday August 9, on a first come first served basis until it is gone. We cupped this coffee yesterday, and were delighted with the mandarine orange (peel) notes on the nose with nippy acidity and fruit on the palate. The coffee is being sold for $13 per half pound. We will also be selling 12oz cups of Terezinha off the Clover for just $5 per cup. Drop into Transcend for a cup of amazing single origin tomorrow.

We are off processing ducks today and then Friday I am picking up:

Smoked Duck Breasts, Rum & Raisin Duck Sausages, Sweet Paprika Duck Sausages, DAM- Duck Ham, Confit packs, Smoked Duck Legs.

We are up to our full compliment of Duck currently and hope to stay that way with the flock being processed today and a new flock arriving on Monday.
